Creating & Consuming Culture in the Digital Age

All VCU students are invited to submit innovative projects that have been made possible by digital technologies (video, audio and other).

Five winners will be chosen, and each will receive $500.
Show the Richmond community what you are up to!

Such projects might include:

a personal web site
digital video
individual art works involving digital imaging or media
a vlog
a Podcast
an audio CD
a hypertext
a blog
an e-portfolio or resume
a social networking (Facebook, MySpace, etc.) page
whatever (we’re looking to see what you are doing, not what we can describe).

Winners will be awarded a $500 honorarium and present their work at an event on March 21, 2007 at the Commons Theater.

Winning entries will be posted on or linked to the Creating Culture Website.

Submissions will be judged by a committee of faculty and students.
No more than 2 submissions by any individual.
Collaborative projects are welcome.

Judging criteria:

quality of design and execution, imaginative
presentation of information or material
use of media in a new or especially interesting way
